Post Mother's day celebration
Around the world, people celebrate "Mother's day" every second Sunday of May. I have been celebrating this special event for 4 years now and each year, we celebrate in a definitely memorable and special way.
Last Saturday night, I attended a simple Mother's day celebration in a Born-again Church that I attend to (JIL). This was my first time to join an event entirely dedicated to the mothers who also attend the same church.
In this event, my daughter, Yzabella, gave two short song numbers. At first, she sang the song "You'll be in my heart" by Phil Collins with a little help from her dad and aunt and the other song was "Remember me", the OST of the movie "Coco". I was not able to record her second performance that time because she didn't sing loudly despite holding a microphone. I, however, was able to take a video of her "You'll be in my heart" performance.
During the event, I was able to watch different performances from the members of the church and a few games were also played. Of course, I did not join the games due to my shyness and for the "skit" that was done, I couldn't understand most of it due to the fact that the dialogues were spoken in the dialect (Ilocano) which I don't speak. I merely relied on the body language and gestures the whole time.
Here are pics that were taken during the event. (These snaps were taken by my daughter! LOL)
Here's the link to Yzabella's "You'll be in my heart" performance.
