I am impatient. Most people who know me personally can attest to this. I may seem quiet and cool but I always pour out my frustrations to those who understand me. Anyway, I try my very best every time. Slowly, I have learned to follow many ways on how to control my anger. First, I acknowledge the emotion by mentioning it out loud. "I'm starting to feel angry."   Whenever I say this to the person I'm talking to, they automatically stop talking. This also helps me breathe and think things through. Welcome to Aomori, Japan! (Day 1)

Just a few days ago, I had the most memorable experience in my life. I was given the opportunity to travel to the "Land of the Rising Sun" for a total of 6 days. This trip was fully funded by the company where I work at (CNE1 International Language School) and our partner school located in the said prefecture (Hachinohe Gakuin University). Variety of Bentos sold in Tokyo Central train station Our first stop was in Aomori, Japan located in the northern part of the main island of the country. The place is roughly 3 and a half hours away from metro Tokyo by Shinkansen. Every minute counts! The worth of zoos (Subic Ocean Adventure and Zoobic Safari)

It has long been a dream of mine to visit a zoo. When I was young, I remembered wishing to visit the Manila Zoo whenever we go to the metro to pick-up relatives in the airport. Time passed and although I do not strongly wish to visit a zoo, I never really completely removed that from my to-do list. Fast forward to this year, I was blessed to have the chance to go on trips to different localities in my country. This actually is my second time to go to an animal sanctuary. The first one was in Davao, as I have featured in my previous blog post (5 Reasons to visit Davao). For this post though, I would like to highlight the pros and cons of zoos and aquariums. The views that I write here are entirely mine and I do not wish to bad mouth and/or promote any of the things I mention here. First, let me tell you the general view of most people.
