Davao is a city in Mindanao that is the home of many great things from the Philippines. The urban life here is special and it cannot be compared to any other cities in the country. Here is a list of reasons why I think Davao is a place that you should not miss when in the Philippines. 1. Child-friendly destinations (The Philippine Eagle Foundation and Davao Crocodile Park and Zoo) The Philippine Eagle Foundation is dedicated to save and protect not only Eagles but also all other wildlife that are currently endangered. They also vow to protect the habitats of these creatures, especially Mt. Apo, the tallest mountain in the Philippines which can also be found in here in Davao. The sanctuary can be visited by tourists and locals and they are also open to those who are interested in sharing their time and love to animals by volunteering.
